Welcome to The Free Energy Developer's Forum.

This forum has been set up for the discussion of Free Energy Devices primarily foucsed on easily reproducable devices. I would like this forum to be a useful starting point for anyone beginning their projects so that the subject of free energy may be more commonly understood and recognised with easily reproducable projects and experiments.

I set up this forum primarily to post the answers to commonly asked questions. I'm afraid I don't have much time to participate in discussions but feel free to join www.energeticforums.com if you need more help.

wheel wont spin

Postby Robot77 on Sun Aug 03, 2008 1:42 am

hi everybody!

to keep it short. i build a bedini circuit, setup like the daftman scematic, but using a different transistor, 2n3005 and a different pot but 1k. i also set up leds on the coil - they light up when the wheel spins. when the charge bat (motorcycle 12v) is disconnected and the wheel spins, the bulb goes on. if i understand right: impulses to and from the coil should be ok (leds), transistor and circuit work...?!?

why isnt the wheel spinning on itself?

i try to get you some pictures or vids for better vision...

some information:
coil about 15cm long, should have at least 500 turns... i think its more, but i did not count
0,50 and 0,56 mm, core welding rods
wheel about 15 - 20 cms, kind of rollerblade but bigger, with 6 neons.
2 12v motorcycle batts, completely new

would be happy about some clues how to get it going... ;)
thanks, good night

Hi,

Your attached picture not so clear to me...I interest to see your schematic closely.
But for your reference (double check) here Bedini schematic from yahoo.group.

Image

If you follow that one should be work ok. 2N3055 transistor is working ok with me, have you check all of your magnet pointing north? and the coil correct way?
And important the magnet gap as close as you can.

I'm not sure with your magnet, people said ferrite magnet (weak magnet) working best. I use ferrite magnet grade 5.

The last one....make sure all connection of the cable are good....because that happen to me in first try.

Hope this will help.

Hi selamatg!

thanks for responding!
to have a closer look on the circuit, check this:
http://www.mediafire.com/?mllprsdj1jv

i only used different transistor and potentiometer.

to see him build to motor:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JJillOTsmrM
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4dmnDR7VuPo
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0U20V7Kh_kc

i also made a change, connecting the 3rd pin of the pot with the left pin of the pot.

my magnets should point north, the have south attraction on the compass.

what did you mean by "the coil correct way"?
its bifiliar, but not exactly wire by wire, since i made it by hand...

thanks for the "gap tip" - thought about that issue...

i´ll try to build a completely different setup asap..

again, thanks for the input!

Hi Robot77,

By see the Bedini circuit and thedraftman circuit the only different is the bulb position.
But that not will give you problem I guess...the device can turn without the bulb anyway.

I focus on the coil setup (direction) that very critical. Top trigger (small size) coil should connect to variable resistor, bottom trigger coil go to diode 1N4001 (anode side), top power coil (big coil) go to negative charging battery and positive primary battery then the last one (bottom power coil) go to colector.

I recommend the coil not less than 900 turn and the size not too close. I use 0.5mm as trigger coil and 0.75 as power coil. If you rewinding the coil try as tight as you can, that will improve the result as my experience.

That video alot easy to follow and very clear. My first SSG is learn from that video.

Thank Seph ..for the great video...

hope above information will help.

hi Selamatg again!

thanks for the vids,
i stumbled upon some time ago -
which, with the vids of daftman
encouraged me do try this one,
and here´s the result... questions over questions :D

on my coil, all ends come to one side
do you think that could be a problem?
i´ll try the different coil type when i get some more wire.. :)

could it help to wind two power wires and on trigger wire?

i have 0,50 and 0,56 wire...

anyway yesterday i tried the "seph-circuit" - picture enclosed,
but still.. wheel wont spin. (last power wire cannot be seen,
outside the picture...)

i´ll be off for some days, after that i´ll do some
changes - see if that works.

thanks for the brainfood again,
robot

Hi...

About your coil, all end to one side..I'm really not sure..I got 4 trifilliar coil with normal setup. But I guess...still work.
your picture seem alright but better you solder correctly.
and you need additional Potensiometer after resistor to find sweet spot.

Adding another power coil will draw your primary battery faster but charging faster too, you need put additional transistor, diode and resistor.

The important thing you should connect your charging battery first before connection primary battery...there is easy burn your transistor...specially if you turn the wheel and you should disconnect primary battery first then charging battery.

Better you check your transistor, make sure still good condition and if still not turning try the coil up side down, in case you wrong coil setup / magnet direction.

sorry that all i can comment by now, fyi I build with many different size and setup of SSG with no problem at all. so I really try to help your first SSG running.

One more : are you use welding rod r60? make sure there is form iron. My first SSG is using very rusty iron nail and very tight too.

Good luck Friend. :D

hi selamatg!

now, there´s some huge work to run down! thanks for that!

i did some testing with the magnetic field (directly connecting the coils to the battery..) and found interesting details about the field when changing polarity on the battery... :D

now that got me some more insight!

for the rods: oh.. i used welding electrodes,
maybe i should read better when buying.

again, thanks for inputting,
next time i hope will bring better results

still roboting!

back on the circuit

Postby Robot77 on Sun Aug 24, 2008 11:21 am

hi there again!

i did some more experimenting and found this:

put in a new transistor in case the last burnt, connected the coil in a way that the magnetic north points towards the wheel... but still no movement on its own. now - when measuring ohms or using the diode symbol between the base and the collector the wheel pushes, and coil making sounds. when touching base and collector rhythmicaly i get a good speed. this ONLY works with ohms and the diodesymbol.. not with volts and amps.

so now i know the system on its own works and is strong enough... :? in that case.

but can someone tell me whats electronically-spoken happening?

i´ll order some different wire and magnets... and set this whole thing up new,
and see whats happening...

thanks again!

Small SSG Schematic

Postby selamatg on Mon Aug 25, 2008 2:52 am

Hi.....

You just short the trigger coil and create magnetic field then push the magnet automatically.
That normal.

Try again and set your Pot in maximum resistant (in this case 1 K Ohm). then turn your wheel and see what happen..., If still not turning try reduce the resistant slowly then try again.

I guess with your coil making sound that a good sign....

Here other simple schematic for your double check.

For your info, I made many SSG replication and two of them use my kids weak magnet working very well, :D I'm sure the problem not related to your magnet.

Good Luck my friend.....

You can PM me or send email or ym if you want....

hi selamatg again!

glad i´m living at a time when we can exchange information that easy!!!

i guess the problem starts with wrong wire sizes in my coil... 0,50 mms and 0,56 mms, so i order me 0,8 and 0,4 now, and see if my thingi is improving, and then craft it all again, more carefully from the start. another problem... i guess i can´t manage to get the transistor triggered... and thought maybe icould overcome by putting in a small capacitor... but.. my profession is completely different, and although i´m very interested in this subject up to date all the electronic how-tos mean just :?: to me.. this will take some time but i´ll keep you updated!!

thanks for inputting up to now, but...
don´t steal your kids toys for youre own amusement :D
mighty blessings friend!
