Welcome to The Free Energy Developer's Forum.

This forum has been set up for the discussion of Free Energy Devices primarily foucsed on easily reproducable devices. I would like this forum to be a useful starting point for anyone beginning their projects so that the subject of free energy may be more commonly understood and recognised with easily reproducable projects and experiments.

I set up this forum primarily to post the answers to commonly asked questions. I'm afraid I don't have much time to participate in discussions but feel free to join www.energeticforums.com if you need more help.

SSG super charge plan

Postby selamatg on Fri Jun 20, 2008 9:35 am

Hi...

Below is my setup of Bedini SSG super charge.
Image

Image

Detail Spec :

Rotor:
4 Wood Rotor in one shaft
Diameter 5.5"
wide 1" space between rotor = 4 "
Shaft size = 2"

Magnet =
2" x 1" x 3/8" (4 pcs / rotor) total = 16 pcs
All magnet position 22.5 degree different
#1, #3, #4, #2 and so on...just copy from 4 cyl engine system.

Coil :
All trifillar coil (2 x 0.75mm as power coil and 1 x 0.5mm as trigger coil) Approx 900 turn

Component :
* All have separate circuits using 2N3055 Transistor, 1N4001, 1N4007 diode, 1Kohm Potensiometer, 100 Ohm resistor and Neon Bulb NE-2.

So far is working and charge large quicker than my previous setup. It draw 1450mA (1.45 Ampere). Speed Approx more than 1000 RPM (I have no Tachometer yet).

Still try finding good tunning to get best result.

Please comment or any suggestion to improve my result.

Regards,

Selamatg

wow! That's a big set up... and a HUGE battery

really chunky shaft as well... what are you using for bearings?

that amp draw isn't too suprising considering the size ofthe coils, would be interested to know the RPM when you get a tach ;) really handy tool.

What is your potentiometer set to when it is drawing that much?

Will post some tuning tips soon, but been a bit busy! Will get them on either tonight or tomorrow!

Hi..

The bearing I use is Ball Bearing, The cheap one but capable for high speed, I bought 14$ each, the good one would be 70$ each with same size.

About the RPM, I'm very sure more than 1000...would be good if have Tachometer...

That shaft size originally design for 7" Diameter Rotor, but the machining guys here doing wrong thing (unbalance) so I cut down the diameter of the wheel to 5.5". Ideally the shaft size 1-1/4" for that rotor size should be enough, but I want a use my bearing which bought first.

The shaft still not really balance but I have to keep that size...I'm sure if everything balance the RPM will close to 2000-2500.

The Potentiometer is set around 650 Ohm.

That setup still possible to add another 4 coil on top of the wheel, but for now will try this first.

I'm really want to made super charge one, but still need more knowledge about how to get best tunning, specially with this type setup.

Please welcome any advice to improve my result.

Regards,
Selamatg

Hi,

I just posted how to tune the circuit. Though for your SSG you will need to tune every coil individually using whatever method you choose.

Good luck!

Today..

I have burn 4 pcs Transistor 2N3055. :dead:

2 Transistor burn when I try put 36 Volt in Primary side.
1 Transistor burn when playing Potensiometer on tuning with 1 Ohm resistor method.
and 1 more when replace the other one, the collector of the 2 Transistor connect. (that was an accident).

The good news is:

3 dead Battery give positive sign after 5-10 cycle. :D

100AH - 12V already stay at 12.45 volt, 70AH-12V (12.67 volt) and 5AH-12V at 12.03 volt (this one very bad condition).

I believe all of above Battery will ready for use for next 1-2 weeks (Approx 10-15 more cycle).

Sorry to hear about your transistors :(

In every war there are casualties. I used to have a little transistor graveyard but now it is more of a mass grave!

But very good you are seeing a response from your batteries! Looking forward to hearing how they perform.

Have you finished tuning the circuit now?

That's one amazing Bedini charger/engine! Keep up the good work. Maybe you should use some lighter materials for the device.

Thanks for your advice....
but there is not so heavy :D and the speed I guess about 1000 RPM...I have no tachometer.

The only problem, when I build the wood not so dry and now not very good balance. I pay almost 150$ for machining the wood. :x

Anyway.....I love it...LOL
