Welcome
Welcome to The Free Energy Developer's Forum.

This forum has been set up for the discussion of Free Energy Devices primarily foucsed on easily reproducable devices. I would like this forum to be a useful starting point for anyone beginning their projects so that the subject of free energy may be more commonly understood and recognised with easily reproducable projects and experiments.

I set up this forum primarily to post the answers to commonly asked questions. I'm afraid I don't have much time to participate in discussions but feel free to join www.energeticforums.com if you need more help.

How do you decide what type of rectifier to use when converting AC to DC? Are they rated for there highest load or is there another way?

thanks,

Hi Mike

bridge rectifiers are exspensive if you buy them, I would suggest using 4 1n4007 diodes and building your own. (1000V) bridge rectifier

join two 1n4007 with the lines facing each other, and then two with line away from each other

connect them together and then the two lines are + and the two where the lines are away -

The other two pionts are ~

Hope this helps

Greetings and Welcome

Hi Mike,

The other way you need to know how many AMP and Voltage you will use,

here is the link for your reference
http://category.alldatasheet.com/index. ... 0RECTIFIER

If you are using 4 X 1N4007 if I'm not wrong that can handle 1 Amp and 1000 Volt..
All depend your setup.

Hope that will give another help.

Cheers
