Welcome
Welcome to The Free Energy Developer's Forum.

This forum has been set up for the discussion of Free Energy Devices primarily foucsed on easily reproducable devices. I would like this forum to be a useful starting point for anyone beginning their projects so that the subject of free energy may be more commonly understood and recognised with easily reproducable projects and experiments.

I set up this forum primarily to post the answers to commonly asked questions. I'm afraid I don't have much time to participate in discussions but feel free to join www.energeticforums.com if you need more help.

Adding a Second (or Multiple) Coils

ok, so you have built your SSG and it is running fine, but you want to take it further... once you have got to grips with how the motor operates and tuning the circuit, you will be ready to add a slave coil.

No trigger coil is required on a slave coil (all transistors are triggered by the same trigger coil on the master coil) so you don't need different guage wires. You can use just one wire (single filar) for the coil, though you may as well use at least 2 wires to make a bifilar coil just like you did for the first coil. You can add more wires if you prefer... any more than 5 may be a bit excessive though, unless you are making VERY big coils! lol

The schematic below shows how to hook up a single filar coil as a slave though just add the part in red for however many wires/coils you want to use.

This can also be used for making a trifilar Master Coil with two wires powering the coil and one for the trigger coil.

Good luck, and feel free to ask any questions :thumb:

4 Coil Motor

Postby freenerd on Wed Sep 03, 2008 3:35 am

Hello Introvertebrate,
I am going to build a 4 coil motor but have a few questions before I get started. Your attached diagram shows a filar and bifilar coil. I would like to get a good balance of charge power and torque from the 4 coil motor. Would you suggest using multiple bifilar coils or trifilar or ??? I would like to add a trigger winding in each coil - any issues I should watch out for here? When adding power windings (3 or more) to each coil do I potentially jeopordize something else in the circuit? Do I need to up the battery count when running the brute or can I still use single primary & charge 12V batteries?

Finally - (sorry about all the questions) - have you seen any schematics on a 4+ coil setups that I can look at?

Thank you,
Freenerd

Hi Freenerd,

I cant think of any 4 coil setups in particular... plenty of tricoils though!

The one thing to remember is that the more coils you add the higher your amp draw will be and you want to keep the amps at the C20 rate of your batteries. If your draw goes above this rate you will lose the benefits of having multiple coils.

You can use as many strands as you like per coil but on a smaller set up probably best to stick to three at max... you still want around 750 turns per coil so if you add too many strands it won't fit on the spool!

Good Luck!
